Dinkar Jadhav

Painter, Sculptor

Dinkar Jadhav, born 1973 in a Pune village, Maharashtra, acquired a General Art Diploma in 1994 from Abhinava Kala Mahavidyalaya.

Nature serves as his perennial muse, often channelled through sculptures of horses and bulls radiating tranquil energy.Embracing the notion that abstraction embodies creativity, his works spotlight colour patches, geometric shapes, and precise angles.

The interplay of light and shadow is skilfully conveyed via colour usage. Predominantly using reds and blues, his art exudes boldness.

Employing acrylic colours, Jadhav imparts a unique crayon-like texture to his sculptures, contributing to their distinctiveness. Merging nature’s essence with abstraction, his art creates a singular visual narrative, emphasizing the bond between the natural world and abstract expression in sculptural form.
